In establishing the Denise Lisac memorial scholarship fund we are committed to carrying on her legacy of giving to others unconditionally. There are many "game changers" we can all take from her into the future, but probably none greater than how to make a difference. Anyone that knows Dee understands how unbelievably big her heart was and what an authentic, beautiful person she was from the inside out. She was a model of kindness, strength and passion for all... the ultimate model for serving others.

If you are like us, Denise made a positive impact in your life. If we are being honest, she impacted us in many ways, many times. For some of you it may have been in the classroom, for others on the field, in the hallways, or even outside of school. Whatever the circumstances were the fact is Dee helped shape who we are today. In this spirit, we are providing you with the opportunity to carry on Dee's legacy for years to come by contributing to a scholarship in her name. This scholarship will be given each year to one male and one female David Douglas High School Athlete who exemplifies her core values.
